I just love the fact that more and more places are becoming dog friendly in the town where I live. It’s not just about being able to bring your dog to an outdoor spot. These days a few restaurants are getting it. I have seen Doggie Brunches and one of my favorite places to visit on a week night is Q Bar in Fort Lauderdale. Q Bar has a constant Doggie Chow Menu and they even provide you with a Doggie Bag if the portion is too large for your pampered pooch. My dogs love it. They can get meatloaf and mashed potatoes or organic chicken and rice. There is even dessert and the obligatory Doggie Beer.
It’s really nice to have a glass of wine and a bite, listen to some music, hang with your friends and other people who love the company of their pet outside on comfy couches in the fresh air. I can only hope more of theserestaurants spring up. It’s always more fun in the company of dogs.
