I am sad to say…my walks with my dogs have changed… the new trend in dognapping hits too close to home for me. I now am paying attention to every car and person I see. A couple of days ago… a strange car stopped on the corner and just stared at me. I had a bad feeling… I always listen to my intuition. I was carrying my GETGone device. I took it out of my pocket and triggered it as I walked behind their car to cross the street. They left the area. Protecting my girls.. I have three is the most important thing. Do not talk on the phone while walking your dogs. Pay attention and stay on well traveled roads and sidewalks. Make sure you are not being followed. I will often stop in someone’s driveway and let a person pass me. Just be aware. The good thing about GETGone.. is that it does not sound like every other alarm out there… including the ignored car alarm. It looks and sounds like a stun gun. Use it from afar… a would be attacker likes quiet… they will most likely choose a less aware victim. Protect your doggie… the heartbreak of losing your dog or having your dog taken from you is not something that you will easily get over. Additionally, do not leave your dog alone in your backyard. If you have a gate or keep your gate locked.
